The NIST National Meeting aims to build community among STEM educators in higher education and provide a forum for disseminating evidence-based strategies to improve the practice of teaching science. We welcome proposals to share ideas and approaches that promote student engagement, including regular graded and ungraded feedback, in a learning environment where all students can succeed. Approaches may be based inside the classroom, outside of the classroom, or at a broader scale — such as departmental or institutional transformation.
Please apply with the form to propose giving a presentation, facilitating a workshop, or sharing a poster. Space limitations require us to cap attendance to 150 attendees so we may have to limit the number of presentations that we can accept. If you already know your session type and title feel free to submit this preliminary information before the deadline.
We will let you know by April 7, 2025 to confirm whether your proposal has been accepted. Thank you for your interest in sharing your work and ideas at the NIST National Meeting!
